When you find out your close friend has cancer…. all you can do is laugh with her.

Friend: “What if they scan me and I light up like a Christmas tree?”…. Me: “You can call it your Christmas Cancer.”

Friend: “Do you think if I go back into the office and ask for the cancer, they’ll give it to me?”…. Me: “You can try, maybe you can put it on your night stand and say, “Good night” to it when you’re ready for bed.”

Friend: “What if it’s spread to other lymph nodes? I mean, it’s my cancer, I know what it’s thinking.”…. Me: “BAHAHAHA!”

Friend: “How am I going to tell people? ‘Hey, guess what, I have cancer.'”…. Me: “Hallmark makes Cancer Cards…. when I worked there, they had a card for EVERYTHING!”

When you find out your close friend has cancer…. all you can do is laugh with her because it helps to hold back the tears.
