Last night, I made Italian Roast with Mixed Vegetables and a Side Salad topped with cucumbers.
It was pretty good. I’m just not getting what makes the dish “Italian” other than the fact garlic is included in the recipe. I’m starting to think that this website I use for recipes just “fancies” up the names by throwing random countries into the title.
Honestly, there wasn’t too much to learn when making this dish. I did all of the preparation the night before so that I wouldn’t have to do it in the morning. Then I threw it in the slow cooker.
Lesson learned: Onions still make your eyes water when you use an electric chopper.
Positive lesson learned: Slow cookers may save my life.
